Hello, my name is Joshua Thompson but you can call me Schmalls if you like. I am a Senior at the University of Tulsa and I'm majoring in Mechanical Engineering. I have accepted a job at MIRATECH Corporation in Tulsa after graduation. I enjoy the internet and web programming, so I spend a lot of time browsing the internet for the latest in computer technology.
I am also a fan of the open source community, and I also like to work on my own open source projects when I have some spare time. One of the projects is the ANJEL newsletter component for Joomla/Mambo. Another project which I am working on is called Whomp. It aims to be a standards compliant, xml and xsl based, easily extensible content management system running on PHP5 and a database released under a BSD New License.
